Our drum shells are painstakingly dried over years to ensure they have perfect optimal strength, remain round and have been meticulously hollowed out of a single log of wood. Great care & road testing has been taken in our experience with each species to ensure the shell will withstand the rigours and abuse from drummers of all genres. No joins, no ply, no block. 100% ethically sourced Western Australian timber.
A Citrus Bite
This single piece of 11mm Lemon Scented Gum sings with a metallic bite as delicious as the citrus scented leaves the tree it was made from produces. With a rich metallic note rounded off by a subtle woody complexion, and a controlled, dense yet tight bottom end, this drum leads the pack as one of the most metal sounding drums in our True Solids Lineup. With 2.3mm Triple Flanged Hoops and a 45 degree inner/slight round over outer bearing edge, this lemon beauty can range from a controlled low metallic note with a smooth and rich spread, to earth shattering cracks that rival that off the metallic sheen of a thick shelled brass drum.
